This free summer-themed piano piece is in the key of G major.  The left hand uses the 5-note hand position from G - D while the left hand uses an octave of notes from G - G including F sharp, with hand position changes using the movements from the G major scale.  There are elements of contrary motion between the hands and contrasting use of staccato and legato.
