Shining Bright Collection is a set of 4 piano pieces, each of which uses a different 5 - note hand position in each hand.

Piano students will build their confidence in understanding which notes will be under 5 fingers depending on their starting note. 
 
Note values used are crotchets / quarter notes, minims / half notes and semibreves / whole notes.  There are also tied notes.  
 
Each piece requires the sustain pedal to be held down throughout, creating a more mystical sound quality that will appeal to teens and adults as well as children.

Different atmospheres are created depending on which kind of light is represented:
- Sunlight has a laid back feel
- Twilight has an air of uncertainty
- Moonlight has an ethereal quality
- Starlight is full of wonder
