A Moment to Remember is celebratory, whimsical and has a sentimental feel.
There are echoes of familiar melodies that hark back to birthday and Christmas celebrations over the years, with the jubilant bell-like descending motifs accompanied by flowing pianist left hand patterns.
Features: Ostinato-style left hand, chords of 3rds and 6ths, repetitive descending right hand motifs
Focus: To work on stamina, chord placements, co-ordination
Wondrous Beginnings is full of anticipation and excitement and has a celebratory feel.
The sweeping left hand with its ostinato figures allows the right hand to take flight with its written out trills and mordents to evoke birdsong, while the part-playing and flurries of notes add to the overall imagery.
Features: Chords of 3rds, 4ths and 7ths, written out ornaments, 3 voices

The First Blossom of Spring is delicate, hopeful and full of optimism.
The flowing pianistic left hand is contrasted with melodic motifs that use semiquaver / sixteenth note flurries that help convey movement.
Features: Quaver / eighth note ostinato in left hand, chords in 3rds in right hand, syncopation
Focus: To build rhythmic stamina, produce even tone, finger dexterity
Searching for Butterflies creates a bittersweet feel with a hint of nostalgia.
The ostinato pattern in the left hand creates the sense of walking and the lyrical right hand uses flurries of notes to imitate the presence of butterflies.
Features: Left hand ostinato patterns, semiquaver / sixteenth-note flurries, quaver / eighth-note movement throughout in left hand
Focus: Stamina, balance between hands, finger dexterity
One Beautiful Sunset is uplifting, joyous and has a celebratory feel.
The flowing pianistic left hand patterns mimic the flow of water while the flurries of semiquavers / sixteenth notes in the right hand evoke the sparkles of the shimmering sun as it sets. The time signature change from simple time to compound time creates a more dance-like feel as the mood changes to reflect the setting of the sun at the end of the day.
